Rocky Top Progress in Lake City!

On Wednesday, May 28th, the U.S. District Court in Knoxville gave a 32 page opinion that clears the way for Lake City, Tennessee to change its name to Rocky Top. The Lake City Council will meet to take a final vote and the city hopes to have an official announcement at their July 4th celebration. Tim Isbel, Anderson County Commissioner and board member of the Rocky Top Marketing and Manufacturing group says their group is continuing to work out land deals for future development plans.
